Area activities

Separated from the mainland by only 130 feet (40 meters) in places, Évia is Greece’s second-largest island. A rugged coastline of wide beaches and steep cliffs gives way to mountains dotted with villages and monasteries. Sailing along the coast of Évia in a caique (wooden fishing boat), you can enjoy the remote coves and beaches and the private island of Petali, as well as explore the main island itself.

Our restaurant offers a traditional Greek breakfast to help you start your day full of energy. As noon approaches we prepare our daily traditional Greek dishes, offering different choices each day and combining perfectly with our menu a la carte. In the evening our menu a la carte restaurant combines with fine options of local wines.

Cocktail Pool Bar

Having enjoyed the swimming pool you can also enjoy our snacks, coffee, ice cream, our crepes and waffles by the pool. The sunset at Altamar Hotel is magnificent and our cocktails seem to be the best choice. The fun continues in the evening with soft music.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations of at least 20 days prior to arrival date, no charges apply.
For cancellations or changes of less than 20 days before the arrival date you will be charged by 50% of the overall fees.
Failing to meet the arrival date will result in charge of the full reservation fee.
Arriving late or leaving earlier than the reserved dates will result in charge of the full reservation fee.
